LESTER TURNER

KOSCIUSKO, -- Services for Lester Arden Turner, Attala county road construction worker, who died at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital here Friday following a stroke, were held Saturday at Rocky Point cemetery directed by Nowell Funeral Home of Kosciusko.

Mr. Turner, who was 50, was born in Attala and had lived many years in Center Community. He was a member of Center Baptist Church and active in church and community affairs.

He leaves his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Kemp of Barnes Community; Mrs. Ira Ann Alderman, Santa Cruz, Calif.; Sandra Turner of Center Community; two brothers, Jesse Turner of Kosciusko and Jim Turner of Rolling Fork; a sister, Mrs. Lula Hayes of Carthage.
