D.L. ``Andy'' Anderson

Funeral services for D.L. ``Andy'' Anderson, 73, of Lubbock will be 11 a.m. today, Dec. 8, 2005, at Englunds Chapel in Slaton with Dr. Cleve Kerby officiating. Private family committal will be at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Andy passed from this life Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005.

He was born Dec. 7, 1931 in Bonham. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Andy married Jackie Sue Whittle, who preceded him in death May 23, 1990. He had been a resident of Lubbock since 1975.

Survivors include his son, Steve Anderson of Lubbock; daughter, Kim Basinger and husband Greg of Slaton; brother, Timmy Anderson of Hot Springs, Ark.; and grandchildren, Travis, Katy and Colton Basinger.
