LESTER RAYNER

Funeral service for Lester Rayner, 52, victim of a highway accident Friday when he was hit by a car while working on the right-of-way on Highway 15 two miles north of Bay Springs, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Mr. Rayner, an employee of the State Highway Department, was a resident of Route 2, Louin.

The service was held at Antioch Baptist Church, near Bay Springs, with the Rev. Bill Hegwood and the Rev. T. R. Gregory officiating. Interment was in [Mt.] Pisgah Cemetery with Memory Chapel in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Flonnie Rayner; a son, Robert E. Rayner; two daughters, Mrs. Nelda Dickerson and Miss Flonnie Dean Rayner, all of Route 2, Louin; a brother, E. G. Rayner, Route 2, Louin; two sisters, Mrs. Venice Phillips, Route 1, Laurel, and Mrs. W. W. Mosley, Rose Hill.
