Leta Mae Barlow

Leta Mae (Scott) Barlow passed away June 19th, 2014. She was born in McNair, MS on December 8th, 1929 to parents Emmit and Nita Scott.

She married Edsel Currie Barlow September, 1947. Leta was a loving mother and wife. She always saw to the needs of others ahead of herself. She walked in her faith and loved to hear the joyful noise of the gospel in song. Her home and heart were always open to those in need.

Leta was preceded in death by Edsel and is survived by five children; Virginia Lee Demers, of Section, AL; Richard Michael Barlow, of Columbia, SC; William Edsel Barlow, of Pace, FL; Leta Carol Nouri, of Fresno, CA; and Stephan Gregory Barlow, of Ocean Springs, MS. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Leta will be laid to rest beside Edsel at the Biloxi National Cemetery following a family memorial service at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 30th. Family and friends will gather following the service to celebrate the life of Leta Mae.
