Letha L. Dyson, 79, of Singer, La., died Sept. 13, 2001, at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder, La.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Singer United Pentecostal Church with burial at Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. today and Sunday at the church.
A lifelong resident of Singer, she was former owner and operator of Two Sisters Restaurant.
Survivors include sons, Cecil Dyson, Rafil Burgess Jr. and Jim Burgess, all of Singer, and Hardy Dyson of DeQuincy, La.; daughters, Dorothy Vercher of Canton, Ohio, Linda Cooper of Houston and Lucy Scott of Singer; brothers, J.B. Brister of DeQuincy, G.A. Brister of Singer, Garland Brister of DeRidder and Jerry Brister of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters, Opal Turner and Sue Maddox, both of Rosepine, La., and Evelyn Vance of McClure, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
