Died 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 1995, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 60, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Batchelor. He was a retired state of Louisiana truck driver and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Visiting at Niland's Funeral Home, New Roads, 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Religious services at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Frank Easley. Interment in Latanalbe [sic Latanache] Baptist Cemetery, Batchelor.

Survived by a longtime friend, Anita Ortego, Baton Rouge; two sons, Mark Jackson and Tommy Jackson, both of Baton Rouge; a sisters [sic sister], Aileen Jackson, Baton Rouge; and two brothers, Tommy Jackson, Batchelor, and Julian Jackson, Pride.
