Levi Traxler Rites Slated For Tuesday
Funeral services for Levi Stephens Traxler, 69, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Burke-Hammer funeral home chapel with Rev. Coledia Rayaaud, pastor of the Calvary Baptist church, officiating.
Mr. Traxler was a retired route man for the Lake Charles American Press. A native of Smith County, Miss., he lived in the Moss Bluff community.
Mr. Traxler died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday in St. Patrick's hospital.
Burial will be in the Ritchie cemetery.
Mr. Traxler is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lottie Traxler of Moss Bluff; one son, Ray S. Traxler of Lake Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Leether Clegg of Galveston, Texas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Glen Arender, Frank Arender, Elray LeBleu, Joe Pilkerton, O. F. Richardson and Bob Pitts.
