OAK GROVE, La. Nov 23 (Special) -- Mrs. Levia Anna Fox, 65, of Oak Grove, died Monday in a Monroe Hospital. Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. Herbert Sharplin officiating, assisted by Rev. J. D. Cheatham. Interment followed in the Oak Grove cemetery under direction of Catrom-Gay funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Henry M. Fox, of Oak Grove; eight sons, Clarence B. Fox, of Epps, Woodrow W. Fox, of Baton Rouge, Henry V. Fox, of Monroe, Tim Fox, of Oak Grove, Jackson L. Fox, of New Orleans, V. O. Fox, of Ft. Worth, Tex. and Alvis S. Fox, of Livingston, N.M., Luther L. Fox; seven daughters, Mrs. Maudie Lawrence, Mrs. Higginbottom, both of Bastrop, Mrs. Winnie Valentine and Mrs. Cecil Matthews, both of Monroe, Mrs. Lena Odessa Bass, of Laurel, Miss., Mrs. Mable Harper, of For- [text missing] and Mrs. Bernice Weast, of Ft. Worth, Tex.; 38 grandchildren; 12 [great] grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Herman Fox, Harold Matthews, James Fox, R. M. Butler, Olyer Dye and Jack Lamb.
