WINNSBORO (Special) -- Final services for Lewis C. Cox, 85, of Winnsboro were to be held at 3 p.m. today with the Rev. Joe Mongle, the Rev. James Bonner and the Rev. Roger White officiating.

Burial, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro, was to follow in the Harris cemetery.

Mr. Cox, a retired farmer, died Thursday morning in a Winnsboro hospital following a long illness.

He is survived by his widow; five daughters, Mrs. Sam McMurray, Mrs. S. J. Browning Sr., Mrs. N. G. Lee, and Mrs. Ida Belle Bradley, all of Winnsboro, and Mrs. John T. O'Brien of Delhi, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Slay and Miss Ida Cox, both of Jena.
