Lewis W. Humphries, Sr.

Services for Mr. Lewis W. Humphries, Sr., age 92, of Jena will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004 in the chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home with Revs. Johnnie Phillips and Marl Benge officiating. Burial will follow in the Nolley Memorial Cemetery of Jena.

He passed away in Vicksburg, Miss., at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004.

Mr. Humphries was a veteran of WWII and a member of the Nolley Memorial Methodist Church. He was employed by LaSalle State Bank for 42 years where he served as a senior vice-president.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra ``Sandy'' Howard of Sulphur and Ruby LaNell Braxton of Vicksburg, Miss.; a son, Lewis W. ``Bill'' Humphries, Jr. of Carthage, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call in the funeral home from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Sunday.
