FOSTER

Lieonnie Janeal Villet Foster was born April 6, 1922 in Lewiston, Utah to George Andre and Effie Stocks Villet. She went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2006. Janeal received her bachelor's degree in bacteriology and biochemistry from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. She earned her master's degree in Medical Biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine after which she worked for the Research Foundation in cancer research. During her time at OU, she met C.F. Foster, Jr., who was a medical student. Janeal and C.F. were married on March 8, 1947 and to this union four wonderful daughters were born; Louise, Gloria, Suzette and Diane.

Janeal was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dr. C.F. Foster, Jr. in 1981, her brother Brent and her sister Helen. She is survived by her daughters Louise O'Nan and husband Ralph of Broken Arrow, Gloria Lang and husband Dennis of Lawton, Suzette Russo and husband Carlos of Lafeyette, LA and Diane Stephens and husband Dean of Oklahoma City. In addition to her daughters she is survived by 11 grandchildren: Sean O'Nan and wife Krystal, Alan Lang, Scott Lang and wife Teresa, Ryan Lang and wife Jennifer, Emilio Russo and wife Sara, Frank Russo and wife Jessica, Georgio Russo, Ana Maria Russo, Courtney Stephens, Chelsea Stephens and Christian Stephens. She is also survived by brother-in-law Charles Foster and wife Sara, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Janeal was active in P.E.O., Medical Auxiliary, St. Anthony Volunteer League, St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral, St. Catherine's Guild, Mobile Meals and many art, ballet and music venues. An evening service will be held 7:00p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Smith and Kernke Funeral Home, 1401 NW 23rd Street. A Memorial Eucharist will be 11:00 a.m. Thurs., Dec. 21, 2006 at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral, 127 NW 7th Street, Oklahoma City.
