Lillian Ester Collins

Mrs. Lillian Collins, 83, a native of Wayne County and resident of State Line, MS died Monday, April 16, 2012 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was employed as a Homemaker.

Mrs. Collins is preceded in death by her husband, L. G. Collins; parents, Albert and Ruth McCarty; son, Mitchell Collins; son-in-law, Rollon Cartwright; brother, Robert McCarty; sister, Emma Lee Lassiter.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Collins (Mechelle) of State Line; daughter, Carolyn Cartwright of State Line; 3 brothers, Aubra McCarty and Raybon McCarty, both of Waynesboro, Cecil McCarty of Stringer; 2 sisters, Maudie Vee Hartley of Copeland, AL and Wilma Ruth Boykin of Waynesboro; 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Collins will be held from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from the Cartwright Cemetery.
