Services Are Held From Mrs. Lillian Flowers Robinson, 58, of Oglethorpe.
Mrs. Lillian Flowers Robinson, age 58, of Oglethorpe, Ga. died Monday, August 26, 1985 at her residence. Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, in Mt. Zion-St. Luke Lutheran Church. Burial was in Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Pastor John Lingle officiated.
Mrs. Robinson, a native of Upson County, was born January 28, 1927, the daughter of Willie J. Flowers and Alice Pearl Taunton Flowers. She resided in Oglethorpe for most of her life, was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion-St. Luke Lutheran Church.
Survivors are her husband, Henry J. Robinson, four sons, Henry J. Robinson Jr. of Palatka, Fla., Bennie Earl Robinson of Reynolds, Henry Michael Robinson and Ted Jackson Robinson, both of Oglethorpe; five daughters, Mrs. Betty Long of Palatka, Fla., Mrs. Louise Giddens of Cochran, Mrs. Cheryl Justice of Graham, N.C., Mrs. Margie Parks and Miss Patti Robinson, both of Oglethorpe; a brother, William Flowers of Warner Robins; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Hathaway of Warner Robins and Mrs. Treasian Howard of Milledgeville, and several grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Frankie Williams, Roy Morgan Coogle, Eldred Smith, Ed Coogle, Wayne Bellew and Lamar Melton. Watson Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
