Brandon -- Mrs. Lillian Saik, 86, passed away at her home in Brandon, July 7, 2012. Visitation will be held at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson, MS on July 8, 2012 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm with a Graveside service following at 2:00pm at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Jackson.

Mrs. Saik was born and raised in Oak Grove, LA and attended public schools in Oak Grove. She moved to Jackson, MS in 1944 where she attended Clark's Business School then went on to work in retail clothing as a Manager of Bernard's Dress Shop for 21 years. She was a former member of American Business Women and a member of Madison United Methodist Church in Madison, MS.

Mrs. Saik was preceded in death by her husband Ellis Joseph Saik, and her daughter Pamela A. Lawrence. She is survived by her son Joseph F. Ades of Arlington, TX, grandsons; Christopher Lawrence and Scott Lawrence, granddaughter; Shelley L. Yoakum, great-grandchildren; Morgan Lawrence, Abigail Lawrence, Caroline Lawrence and Christopher Lawrence Jr.
