Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Velma Paul will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2002 in Shadygrove Pentecostal Church of Sharptown, La. with the Revs. Joey Paul and Emerson Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.
Mrs. Paul, 84, of Jena died at 7:55 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2002 in LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena.
Survivors include her daughters, Ople Cole of Jena, Clara Ford of Calvin, and Irma Curtis of Jena; sons, Phillip E. Paul of Jena, James M. Paul of Jena; sisters, Edna Walker, Jennie Walker, Elsie Walker, and Sally Starnes, all of Jena; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Cole, Jason Cole, Jay Paul, Trai Ford, Ronnie Evans, and Jeffrey Paul.
Honorary pallbearer will be Riley Curtis.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2002 until 10 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until time of services in the church on Saturday.
