Mrs. Lillian Melton

CHATHAM -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Melton, 64, of Chatham were to be held at 3 p.m. today in Chatham Baptist Church with the Rev. F. L. Hearne officiating.

Burial was to be in Chatham Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Mrs. Melton died Wednesday morning in Glenwood Hospital at West Monroe after a long illness.

Survivors include her husband, Clyde Melton of Chatham; one daughter, Mrs. Claudine Cartwright of Chatham; two brothers, Sam Womack of Winnsboro and H. E. Womack of Tampa, Fla.; and one granddaughter, Miss Sherrie Cartwright of West Monroe.
