Funeral sevices for Mrs. Lillie Mae Jones, 81, of Jigger were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 19, in the Jigger Apostolic Church with the Rev. Virgil Harris and the Rev. Ernest Oliver officiating.
Interment was in White Swan Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.
A native of Winnfield, she was born July 16, 1900. She was a housewife.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Levonne Morris, Miss Lucille Jones, both of Winnsboro and Mrs. Martha Welch, Monroe; five sons, Jack Jones and Tom Jones, both of Gilbert, B. J. Jones and Ace Jones, both of Bastrop and J. D. Jones, Winnsboro; five sisters, Mrs. Ruby Day, Mrs. JoAnn Thomas, both of Winnsboro, Mrs. Estelle Carter, Beaumont, Texas, Mrs. Alma Sandling, Kermon, Calif., and Mrs. Catherine Dickie, Monroe; two brothers, Elmer McCarty, Dumas, Texas and H. B. Brinsfield, Winnsboro; 25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
