Funeral services for Lillie Christine McLain, 70, of Oak Grove, LA were held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Oak Grove, LA with Reverend Jimbo Herring officiating. Internment followed in Forest Coroner Cemetery, Oak Grove, LA.
Lillie was born November 11, 1938 in Rayville, LA and passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2009 in Oak Grove, LA.
Mrs. McLain was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. McLain; son, Frank Eugene McLain and her mother, Daisy Hawthorne.
Survivors include her 3-children, Jessie “Jr” McLain and wife, Reneé of Oak Grove, Mike McLain and wife, Dyan of Oak Grove, and Cindy Marsh and husband, Richard of Swartz, LA; 9-grandchildren; 6-great grandchildren; brother, Troy Curry of Houston, TX; sister, Alice Guice of Oak Grove; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Matt Marsh, Doyle Guice, Colton McLain, Colby Elee, and Ronnie McLain.
