Lillie May Tucker

AMORY -- Graveside services for Lillie May Tucker, 86, of Amory, who died of a stroke Thursday, March 5, 1998, at Mississippi State Hospital in Jackson, were at 10 a.m. today at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood.

Mrs. Montgomery [sic Tucker], born in Baton Rouge, La., was a resident of Greenwood for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of Meadowood Baptist Church in Amory, where she had lived since 1978.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvie R. Tucker.

Mrs. Montgomery [sic Tucker] is survived by one son, Thurmond J. Tucker of Aberdeen; one brother, Louis Richardson of Metairie, La.; one sister, Lorene Nix of Greenwood; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Bob O'Neal officiated at the services.

Pallbearers were Larry Tucker, Terry Tucker, Morgan Tucker, Pete Zanier, Aaron Zanier and Larkin Harris.

Visitation was from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Williams and Lord Funeral Home.
