A resident of Slaughter, she died at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010. She was 69, a native of Baker and employed at Regions Bank for 41 years.
Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, Monday Sept. 27, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Basil Wicker. Interment in Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery, Central.
She is survived by two daughters, Robbi Gore McCants and husband Wade, of Woodville, Miss., and Bobbi Gore Browning, of St. Francisville; and a son, Mickey Gore, of Central. She is also survived by a brother, Lloyd Brown and wife Margerite, of Central; grandchildren, Trey McCants, Will Gore and Katie Gore; great-grandchildren, Michael McCants Jr., Mollie Wrae McCants and Alex Ramos; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lynn Gore; parents, Leonard and Mena Brown; and brothers, Carvin Brown, Wilson Brown and Jesse Euliece Brown.
Pallbearers will be Trey McCants, Will Gore, T-Lloyd Brown, Steve Brown, David Brown and Len Brown.
She loved to fish and was an avid sports fan, but her greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
