Linda S. Bertolino, 50, passed away Saturday, May 02, 2009, at her home in League City, Texas, after an ongoing battle with cancer. She was born November 22, 1958, in Tylertown, Mississippi to Roy Edward, Sr. and Winnie Mae Disbrow. Linda was a loving mother and homemaker who later went to work as manager of Goforth Elementary School cafeteria. She was known for lovingly making clothing for a number of people, even sewing in her own personalized labels. Linda was also famous for her baking, especially her cheesecake and cinnamon rolls.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband Eddie Bertolino, her father, Roy Edward Disbrow, Sr. and brother, Gilbert Disbrow.
She is survived by her mother, Winnie Mae Edgar; daughters, Rebecca and Jessica Bertolino; brothers, Alan Disbrow and wife, Peggy; and Roy Edward Disbrow, Jr.; sister-in-law, Cathy Disbrow; aunts, Aureua Kimble and Irene Applewhite; three stepdaughters; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Malloy & Son Funeral Home, 3028 Broadway, Galveston, TX.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4655 South Shore Boulevard, League, City, TX. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, TX.
Pallbearers will be Alan Disbrow, Roy Edward Disbrow, Jr., Lowell Randall, Keith Bergeson, Paul White, and Harold White. Charles Roberts will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
