MRS. ROY EMMONS

Funeral services were to be held at 3:45 p.m. today for Mrs. Lennie Doland Emmons, 44, of Lake Charles who died at 1:18 p.m. Tuesday at a local hospital.

Services were to be held from First Methodist church with Rev. G. W. Pomeroy officiating. Burial was to be at Highland Memory Gardens on the Gulf Highway under direction of Hixson funeral home.

Mrs. Emmons was secretary of the junior department of First Methodist church of which she was a member. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Society of Christian Service and the Lioness club.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Emmons; one son, Billy Emmons, both of Lake Charles; her mother, Mrs. Ethel Doland of Grand Chenier; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Cohen of Grand Chenier and Mrs. Max Johnston of Sweet Lake; three brothers, Nolan Doland of Joaquin, Texas, Everett Doland of DeQuincy and Thomas Doland of Lake Charles.

If they wish, friends may make memorial donations to the Methodist Home hospital in New Orleans, the family said.
