Funeral mass for Lisa Lynn Magee Morrow, 44, of Monroe formerly of Winnsboro will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 14, 2005 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Winnsboro with Rev. John Kennedy celebrant and Rev. Bill Moon assisting. Interment will begin at 2:00 PM in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe with Lisa's uncle, Rev. Joe Solomon taking part in the ceremony which is under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Visitation will be held at Gill's Funeral Home in Winnsboro Tuesday, September 13 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
Lisa was born to the union of Landis Lafayette and Mildred Moyers Magee on November 19, 1960 in Delhi and departed her earthly home Monday, September 12, 2005 at her residence in Monroe.
She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Monroe. She was a graduate of Franklin Academy High School in Winnsboro and attended LA. Tech University. She married William Russell Morrow on January 23, 1982 at First Baptist Church in Winnsboro. Lisa was preceded in death by her father Landis ; and grandparents Jesse Harden and Ida Belle Moyers, and Louis and Carrie Magee.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years Russell ``Russ'' Morrow; four children Laura, Caroline, Mathew and Mark all of Monroe.
She is also survived by her mother Mildred ``Poodle'' Magee; one sister Gayla Magee Stevens and husband Barry all of Winnsboro; and one brother Mickey Magee and wife Audra of Ferriday; nieces Jessie Hamby and husband Rett, Jenny Stevens, Jackie Stevens and Brooke Magee; nephews Glaston Magee and Garrett Vinson; mother-in-law Rosa Morrow; a host of other relatives and a world full of friends.
Lisa always tried to bring joy to those she came in contact with and never met a stranger. She truly loved life, but the things that she loved most of all were her four children. They were indeed her greatest joy. Lisa struggled with liver failure, a liver transplant and ultimately the failure of her new liver, but she never ceased to do all that she could for her children.
Pallbearers will be Stan Beeson, Keith Bringol, Craig House, Kelly Martin, Guy Smith, and Major Wiley.
