LLOYD ELDON PRATT

HARLINGEN -- Lloyd Eldon Pratt, 57, a resident of Harlingen 25 years, died of a heart attack near Adams Gardens Thursday while driving toward Harlingen on Highway 83.

Mr. Pratt moved to Harlingen from Hemphill and was employed by the State Department of Agriculture 20 years. He has been farming since 1930.

He was a Master Mason, a Shriner and a member of the Harlingen Elks lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pauline Pratt, North Beckham road, Harlingen; one son, Lloyd E. Pratt Jr., Harlingen; two brothers, Drayton Pratt and Mark Pratt, both of Hemphill; six sisters, Mrs. D. G. Mann, Mrs. Kenneth Clapp, Mrs. Louise Neal and Miss Doris Pratt, all of Hemphill; Mrs. Kirby Russell, Harlingen and Mrs. Boyd Logan, Florida, and one grandchild.

Services will be conducted in the Kreidler-Ashcraft chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Ted Richardson, pastor of the First Methodist church and the Rev. D. Williams McClurken, rector of St. Albans Episcopal church, officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn cemetery.
