Lloyd S. Rolen

Funeral services for Lloyd S. Rolen, 63, of Monroe, were held at 2:30 p.m., April 27 in the Boeuf River Baptist Church in Liddieville with the Rev. Bruce Cardin Officiating.

Interment was in Ogden Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army. He was a Baptist. He died on April 25, 1986, following a brief illness.

Survivors include two brothers, Woodrow Rolen of Cotton Valley and Marshall Rolen of Denver, Colo.; two half-brothers, Douglas Rolen and Henry Rolen, both of Winnsboro; three sisters, Dorothy Antley, Pineville, Ester Halley, Monroe and Ruth Ingram, Liddieville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Gary Howard, John Nolen, Eddie Ward, Nathan Humphries, Mark Ingram, Wade Rolen, Thomas Rolen and Jackie Box.
