Lloyd Wilmer Slaughter
Funeral services for Lloyd Wilmer Slaughter, 42, who died in New
Orleans, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 24, with the Rev.
Efton Martin, and Rev. E. E. Adams officiating. The services were
held at Beulah Baptist Church, and burial was in Beulah Cemetery,
with Warren Meadows Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Slaughter; mother, Mrs.
Rose Oxley, both of Hornbeck; five brothers, N. E. Slaughter of
Dodson, L. T. Slaughter, and T. L. slaughter, both of Hornbeck,
J. C. Slaughter of Many, Woodrow Slaughter of Robeline; two
sisters, Mrs. Lovie Rogers, and Mrs. Goldie Mae Stroud, both of
Many.
