MRS. LOIS JOHNSON

Lois Charlie Johnson, age 84, of Laurel, Mississippi, formerly of Hermitage, died Friday, January 4, 1991, at Hearthside Haven Nursing Home at Laurel.

She was born May 7, 1906, in Bradley County a daughter of the late Warren Smith and Martha Barnet Smith. She was a homemaker, a Baptist and a retired public school teacher.

She married Sam Morgan who died October 19, 1933 and Joe Johnson who died September 18, 1953. Surviving are 3 sons: W. B. Morgan, Charlie Dean Morgan, and Bailey Mack Morgan: one step-son, Joe Johnson, Jr., one step-daughter, Jimmie Dees, one brother: Ed T. Smith, three sisters: Cloteen Munford, Erma Gorman, and Mary Anders.

Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, at Marsden Baptist Church by Rev. Wilson.
