Mrs. Fowler

Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Lucille Fowler, 74, of 178 Leo St. will be held at 4 p.m. today in the Marshall Street Chapel of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

Officiating will be Dr. D. L. Dykes, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Shreveport. Burial will be in Forest Park.

Mrs. Fowler died at 4 a.m. Thursday in Schumpert Medical Center after a long illness.

The Winnfield native lived in Minden before moving to Shreveport in 1934. She was a member of First Methodist Church and the Women's Society for Christian Service.

She is survived by her husband, A. J. Fowler of Shreveport; a daughter, Mrs. Dortha Carter of Shreveport; a grandson, Thomas Scott Carter of London; and two great-granddaughters.

Pallbearers will be G. B. Martin, Kenneth Miller, Tom Parker, Jack Stagg, Keith Fowler, Dr. James Weyman, Bill Larmoyeux and Allen Miller.
