Lois McCarta

Funeral services for Lois Shelby McCarta, 55, of Gilbert, were held at 10 a.m., in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oakley Cemetery with Rev. Denver Smith officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lenie McCarta, Gilbert; one daughter, Miss Patricia McCarta, Santa Barbara, Calif.; two sons, Michael Scott McCarta, Stephen Wayne McCarta, both of Baskin; two step-sons, Richard Parker, Baskin, William Ralph Parker, Delhi; one step-daughter, Mrs. Gladys Jones, Baskin, one brother, James Netherland, Winnsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Cartwright, Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Eton Foreman, Logansport; and a number of nieces and nephews.
