Lois Odessa Reeves
(August 2, 1918 - October 5, 2009)

Mrs. Lois Odessa Reeves, age 91 of West Monroe, Louisiana left this world excited to meet with her Lord and Savior and reunite with her loving husband on Monday, October 5, 2009, at Colfax Reunion Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Colfax, Louisiana.

Born Friday, August 2, 1918 in Dodson, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Noah Fox and Selma White Fox. She was the wife of the late Bryant Reeves. Mrs. Reeves was also preceded in death by brothers, Lyndall Fox, Troy Fox and J. W. Fox, and sister, Louise Reeves.

Surviving are sons, Donell Reeves and wife Joan of Quitman, LA, Jackie Reeves and wife Gloria of Georgetown, LA, David Reeves and wife Sandy of West Monroe, LA and Kenneth Reeves and wife Sue of Verda, LA, daughter, Deveda Reeves and husband Lanny Roberts of Lake Charles, LA, brothers, Norris Fox, J. C. Fox and Deloy Fox, sister, Anna Lena Newsom of Shreveport, LA; 14 grand children; and 17 great grand children.

A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield, Louisiana. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery, near Verda, LA.

Grandsons Kenny Reeves, Chancy Reeves, Truiett Reeves, Anthony Roberts, Joshua Roberts, Darrell Reeves, Dave Reeves and Lavell Reeves will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 and on Wednesday from 8:30 AM until service time at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield.
