Lois White
June 10, 1944 - June 7, 2014

Funeral services for Lois Rogenia “Little Lois” White, 69, of Gilbert will be 2 pm Tuesday at Chase Pentecostal Church with Rev. Dennis Glass and Rev. Coon Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 am until service time.

Mrs. White was born June 10, 1944 in Winnsboro to Clifford Odell and Lennie Mae Thornhill McCarta and passed from this life on June 7, 2014 in Winnsboro.

She loved gardening, flowers, sewing, cooking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two nephews: Jay McCarta and Greg Stokes.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years Lannie White of Gilbert; one son Ricky Eugene White of Gramercy; two grandchildren: Kristi L. Fowler and husband Walter of Livingston and Scott White and wife Jessica of Dutchtown; three great grandchildren Jayce-Leigh Fowler, Zowie and Chloe White; one brother William McCarta and wife Suzie of Jasper, AR; one sister Cleo McCarta of Winnsboro; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
