Loise Alton Lucas

Funeral services for Loise Alton Lucas were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2003 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Kenneth Tarver officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mr. Lucas, age 85 of Winnfield died Sunday, January 12, 2003 in the Winn Parish Medical Center. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in World War II.

He is survived by two nieces, Elaine Riley of Winnfield, LA; Louise Jordan of Winnfield, LA; five nephews: Rayford Riley, Roy Mercer, Julius Mercer, Orville Jordan and Kirby Malloy, all of Winnfield, LA.
