MRS. LONA ROBERTS

Funeral services for Mrs. Lona Roberts, 89, life long resident of Raleigh were held Monday, 3 p.m. from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The Revs. A. M. O'Neil and L. Perry officiated. Burial was in Merchants Cemetery.

Mrs. Roberts, who was born in Smith County, Feb. 29, 1880 died Sunday in the East Mississippi Hospital, Meridian. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by four sons, G. H. Roberts, Woodrow W. Roberts, both of Raleigh; Leonard Roberts, Canton; and Dalton Roberts of Houston; four daughters, Mrs. Alice Anderson, Shreveport, La.; Mrs. J. E. Norwood, Laurel; Mrs. H. B. Davis, Magee; and Mrs. C. F. Brown, Houston, Tex.

Other survivors are 35 grandchildren, 90 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. J. S. Ainsworth of Magee.

Memory Chapel, Bay Springs, was in charge of arrangements.
