MRS. LONA BLACKWELL

Mrs. Lona Blackwell, 64, resident of Louin died Saturday in a Newton Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Old Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, with the Rev. George Boyd and the Rev. Herbree, officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Claude Blackwell, Louin; one daughter, Mrs. Isadore Hanberry, Gaitier, Miss.; four brothers, Frank Walley, Sylvarena, Tom Walley, Jackson; Allen Walley, Bay Springs; Oliver Walley, Florence; four sisters, Mesdames Birdie Alexander, Bay Springs, Della Rayner, Soso, Ada Montgomery, Sylvarena and Estelle Dolan, Bay Springs; two grandchildren.

Memory Chapel was in charge.
