L. L. Lee, 80, of Dodson and a lifelong resident of Winn Parish died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Glen Pine of Dallas late Friday following a long illness.

The body will lie in state at Edmonds Funeral Home at Jonesboro, La. until time for the funeral at Dodson, 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Interment will follow in Transport Cemetery.

Final Rites for L. L. Lee, 90, Held at Transport

L. L. Lee, 90, a long-time resident of Dodson, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Glen Pine, in Dallas late Friday, March 20, following a long illness. Mr. Lee, a retired farmer, and his wife who succumbed several years ago, were prominent residents of Winn, being active in church and community and parish affairs. He served as a member of the board of deacons and chairman of the Dodson Baptist Church for many years. Mr. Lee was born in Arkansas, but moved to Winn Parish when a small boy.

Last rites were conducted at Dodson Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with Rev. George Foster and Rev. L. G. Shaw officiating. Burial was in the Transport cemetery.

Acting as pallbearers were Herman Anders, Arnold Sanders, Harvey Cockerham, Clayton Norred, Luther Walker, Johnny White, Will Kelley, and Clyde Taylor.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marie Pine of Dallas; a son, Hilton Lee, of Columbia; one brother, Mack L. Branch; and one sister, Mrs. J. L. Tugwell, both of Winnfield.
