Mrs. Lora Rayman

GRENADA -- Services for Mrs. Lora Rayman, 75, who died of lung cancer Sunday, March 8, 1992, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Grenada, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home chapel.

Mrs. Rayman, the daughter of the late Samuel Smith and Julia Howard Smith, was born in Doddsville and was a former resident of Greenwood. She was a former employee of Care Inn where she worked as a licensed practical nurse, and was a member of Minter City Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, James L. “Jimmy” Goodnight.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Davis of Carrollton; a son, George Goodnight of Rena Lara; a brother, L.W. Smith of Lambert; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The Rev. John Purvis will officiate. Burial will be in McNutt Cemetery in Schlater.

Pallbearers will be David Reed, W.C. Brunson, Boyce Little, Richard Reed, James Wright and Paul Davis Sr.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
