Wiggins Merchant Dies Early Today
Loren [sic Loran] Abner Krohn, 55, life resident of Wiggins, died at his home at one o'clock this morning following a three months illness. He was born in Stone county March 31, 1891. For many years he was associated in the retail and wholesale merchandising business at Wiggins.
He was a member of the Wiggins Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Funeral services will be held at the Wiggins Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. N. J. Lee, pastor of the Big Level Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Wiggins.
Surviving besides his widow, Mrs. Ethel Perkins Krohn, are three sons, Harold Krohn of Tuscon [sic Tucson], Ariz., L. A. Krohn Jr., and Allen Brooks Krohn, both of Wiggins; one daughter, Mrs. Ethyleen McHenry of Wiggins; four brothers, Herschel, Prescott, Ariz., R. M. Krohn, Long View, Washington; H. J. Krohn, Santa Barbara, Calif. and J. E. Krohn, Bakersfield, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Allie Jones, Jackson; Mrs. Pete Willemoes Jr., and Mrs. W. E. Martin, both of Wiggins, and five grandchildren.
