WEST BLOCTON -- Lorene McCool Pope, 89, died July 5, 2001 at Bibb Medical Center. Services will be held Sunday, July 8, 2001 at Rockco Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Praytor is officiating. Burial will follow in Kinard Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday night from 6-8 p.m. Rockco Funeral Home of Centerville is directing.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Calvin Miller, West Blocton; a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pope was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Caldwell, Ernest Hickman, Macon Pope, Jr., Marty Evers, Sammy Dennard, Donny Dennard and James Corgan.
