Lottie Jane R. Terrell

Lottie Jane Roberts Terrell, 100, of Liberty, died there Oct. 30, 2007, at Liberty Community Living Center.

Visitation is 6 to 9 tonight at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, then noon Thursday at Liberty United Methodist Church, until services there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Ernest Whittington will officiate. Burial will be in Terrell Cemetery near Liberty.

Mrs. Terrell was born Oct. 28, 1907, in Amite County. She was the daughter of Monroe [sic Andrew] and Mary Blanch Wilkinson Roberts.

She was a retired dairy farmer and school bus driver.

Mrs. Terrell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnnie Bertram Terrell; a daughter, Nell McNeil; and two brothers, Webb and Bonnie Roberts.

Survivors include a son, James Bernett “Jack” Terrell and wife Betty of Liberty; a son-in-law, Sam McNeil of Gloster; a sister, Bertha Lea Lumpkin of Gloster; a brother, D.R. Roberts and wife Ann of Batesville; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous step-grandchildren.
