Mrs. Lottie Parker Upton, 70, 820 N. 14th Ave., died Wednesday in the Jones County Community Hospital following a brief illness.
Visitation began at Memory Chapel at 4 p.m. today.
The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Harold Ishee and Archie Haley will officiate.
A native of Jasper County, she was a member of the Laurel Church of Christ.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jean Sherman, Laurel; two sisters, Mrs. Ettie Hathorne, Laurel, Mrs. Bessie Bolivar, Moss; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Scott Sherman, Billy Sherman, William Knight, John Glover, Lavel Hathorne and Delbert Henderson.
Memory Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
