Lou Stamps
Lou Stamps, 63, of Harrison went to our Lord on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. She was born Nov. 12, 1943, to Lewis and Evelyn Lowrance in Sayre, Okla. She was retired from the USDA as an inspector in the poultry industry.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father. Also by her brothers, Lewis Ray Lowrance of Tulsa and Billy Joe Lowrance of Sayre, Okla.
She is survived by her husband, David Stamps; her sister, Sue Smoot of Eric, Okla.; her daughters, Shelley Buckles of Waldron, Beverly Rush of Lubbock, Texas; her sons, Shannon Stamps of Van Buren and Bryan Stamps of Waldron; 10 grandchildren, Crystal, Nikkie, Alex, Joey, Sierra, Mack, Brianna, Lindsey, Rachel and Slaten; and three great-grandchildren, Ethen, Emily and Ashtyn; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2007, at the Waldron Church of Christ with interment at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Gary Lowrance, Ronnie Lowrance, Jeff Smoot, Kent Shuttlesworth, Alvin Stamps and Breck Hicks.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alex, Joey, Mack, Slaten and Ethan.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family will meet with friends and family from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
