Funeral services for Louie Bishop Lee, 68, of 211 Arlington Place, West Monroe, were to be at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe with the Rev. Clyde Caselton and the Rev. T. E. Miller officiating.
Burial was to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
A resident of West Monroe for the past 30 years, Mr. Lee died early Thursday at Glenwood Hospital after a long illness.
He was a native of Pinola, Miss., a retired sanitarian with the Ouachita Parish Health Unit, a veteran of World War II, a member of AmVets, and a former member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Elsie McCarty Lee of West Monroe; one son, John Robert Lee of West Monroe; one daughter, Miss Mary Beth Lee of West Monroe; three brothers, John T. Lee and Marvin Lee, both of Oak Grove, and Carl Lee of Mesquite, Tex.
Pallbearers were Denver McCarty, Stanley McCarty, Charles McCarty, Dr. F. E. McCarty, J. C. Spier, William Thee and Jack Summer.
Honorary pallbearers were to be former employes of the Ouachita Health Unit.
