COLUMBIA -- Services for Louie A. Lindsey will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Riser with the Revs. E.R. Johnson, David McKeihen and Greg Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson.
Lindsey, 80, of Urania died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, in Franklin Parish Medical Center, Winnsboro.
He was a native of Arkansas and a retired oiler with Louisiana Pacific Corp. in Urania. He was a member of Tullos United Pentecostal Church in Tullos.
Survivors include his wife, Tressie Crain Lindsey of Winnsboro three sons, Jimmy Lindsey of Columbia, Donald Lindsey of Douglasville, Ga., and Coy Lindsey of Rayville four daughters, Fay Goodwin of Newellton, Sue Lindsey of Olla, and Kay Lindsey and Renee King, both of Urania 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Lindsey, Carl Gatlin, Michael Gatlin, Kenneth Woodruff, Jimmy Lindsey and David Joel Goodwin.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Thursday in the funeral home.
