Louie Wilkinson

Funeral services for Louie G. Wilkinson of 2305 Whitney Drive, Monroe, were at 2 p.m. today in the Mulhearn Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. T. Earl Ogg officiating.

Burial was in Monroe Memorial Park Cemetery for Mr. Wilkinson, who died Thursday at his residence after a long illness.

A native of McComb, Miss., he had resided in Monroe for the past 40 years. He was a retired pharmacist and a member of College Place Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Pearl Wilkinson of Monroe; two daughters [sic step-daughters], Mrs. Patsy Hafner of Longview, Tex., and Mrs. Elizabeth Stevens of Pasadena, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Myrtis Quin of McComb, Miss.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Clayton Hand, Gene Spatafora, L. N. Blair, J. T. Beckworth, Leonard Adams, Marcus Cole, J. W. Brooks and Harmon Everett.
