Louin Pat Emmons

Louin ``Pat'' Emmons , 88 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012, at North Oaks Medical Center.
He was born on Wednesday, February 28, 1923, in Scott County, Mississippi son of the late Robert Lee and Elsie Lee Williams Emmons and has never met a stranger since.
Mr. Emmons was a Deacon at the French Corner Baptist Church in Ponchatoula, Louisiana and was a 32nd degree Mason .
Mr. Emmons also rose to the rank of Sgt. during World War II
Surviving are his 3 daughters & sons-in-law Linda Jean & James Kelly, Patsy Ann & Norman Guedry and Debbie K. & Robert Landry; son & daughter-in-law Danny Pat & Julie Emmons; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by wife, Audie Emmons, brother, Earl Emmons and sister, Elsie Sue McNair.
Friends will be received Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 10:00 am until services begin at 2:00 pm at Harry McKneely Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula .
Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
