LAMBRIGHT

DAYTON -- Services for Louis George “Luke” Lambright, 78, of Dayton will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Sterling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don McEntire and Wyndal Hudson and Hal Thacker officiating.

Lambright died Wednesday at his home.

A native of Brookhaven, Lambright was a resident of Dayton for 38 years. He was an engineer for Thermal Systems (NASA), an engineering officer in the U.S. Merchant Service during World War II and a member of First Baptist Church in Dayton.

Survivors include his wife, Naomi “Jackie” Chambers Lambright of Dayton; one son, Larry K. Lambright of Houston; two sisters, Audrey McCall of McComb, Miss., and Velma Neeley of Houston; and three grandchildren, Bryan Zwerneman, Debbie Lambright and Jeffrey Lambright.

Pallbearers will be Glen Meeker, Bryan Smith, Gene Bartholomew, Lynndolf Raley, Archie Smith and Fred Bayliss.

Burial will be at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton.

Arrangements are under direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton.
