Louis T. Sharp

RHINEHART -- Funeral services for Louis Travis Sharp, 39, of Rhinehart were at 10 a.m. today at Pine Grove Baptist Church here with the Rev. Alton Fleming officiating.

Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Mr. Sharp, a dredge boat worker, was killed Wednesday afternoon in an auto-truck collision at U.S. 84 and La. 28 intersection near Jonesville, according to Catahoula Parish Sheriff's officials. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include three daughters, Misses Rose Sharp, Mona Sharp and Louise Sharp; three sons, Louis W. Sharp, Shelby H. Sharp and Lester Sharp; his mother, Mrs. Lois L. Sharp; two brothers, Edgar Sharp and Grady Sharp, all of Rhinehart and four sisters, Mrs. Louise Roshto of Pineville, Mrs. Lidia Morgan of Winnsboro, Mrs. Lodia Humphries of Jena and Mrs. Lovie McAnally of Tullos.
