Mrs. Louise Kitchens Patterson, 90, of Raymond passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Visitation will be 3-7pm today and 10-11am Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral Services will be held at 11am Tuesday with burial following at Terry Cemetery in Terry, MS.
A native of Crystal Springs, Mrs. Patterson was the oldest child of Walter and Mae Kitchens. She lived in Jackson and Terry all of her life. Since 1983, she lived with her daughter and family and most recently at Riggs Manor in Raymond. Mrs. Patterson retired from Central High School in Jackson where she was an Attendance Clerk. She was a long time member of Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church and the Volunteer Sunday School Class.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Earl Patterson who died in 1982; her parents, Walter and Mae Tucker Kitchens; and her sister Annette Kitchens Matthews.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her only child, Linda (Mike) of Pearl; grandsons Todd (Courtney) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Ryan (Stephanie) of Brandon; her four great granddaughters Carlee, Kelsey, and her namesake, Molly Louise Blue of Tuscaloosa and McKenzie Blue of Brandon; sisters Lela Broadwater of Terry and Lucille Connell of Raymond; her aunt Elzena Johnson of Terry and many nephews and nieces.
