MURRELL, LOYD
Services for Loyd Murrell will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with the Revs. Bruce Maxey and Jimmy Murrell officiating. Burial will be in Coleman Cemetery, Prospect.
Murrell, 85, of Prospect died Saturday, June 24, 2000, in his residence.
He was a logging contractor and had subcontracted welding services for the Department of Transportation and Development. He was co-pastor of Life Tabernacle, Prospect.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Delrie Murrell of Prospect; one son, Loyd David Murrell of Colfax; one daughter, Susan Ann Franklin of Dry Prong; two brothers, Herbert Murrell of Prospect and Jimmy Ray Murrell of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; two sisters, Murlene Murrell Fox of Colfax and Lea Murrell Diehl of Dallas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
