Lucille Thompson

Services for Lucille Gates Thompson, of Jena, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1986, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers with the Rev. Charlie Anderson and Eddie Thompson officiating.

Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery, Winnfield, under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena.

Mrs. Thompson, 78, died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28th, in LaSalle Nursing Home.

Survivors include four daughters: Betty Williams of Jena; Sally Bartley and Vicki Domangue, both of Houma, and Frances Thibodaux of Lake Charles; three sons, Michael Thompson of West Monroe, Patrick Thompson of Jena, and Tommy Thompson of Houma; one brother, James Gates of Jena; 25 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were grandsons: Bill Williams, Doug Bartley, Howard Thompson, Packey Thompson, Tommy Thompson, and M. J. Thibodeaux, Jr.
